Catching up on my reading, I found this article from last November telling of an archaeological site found a couple of years ago with two buried infants. It’s one of those articles and accounts of history that can connect us to the past in a very powerful and human way. One of the infants was only a couple of weeks old when it died. The other died in utero. Which means if it was the same mother, or two, one mother lost her precious baby a couple of weeks after it was born and the other had to deliver a stillborn. It’s findings like these that remind us the power of history.
